My sarcastic and wonderful adult coloring book. The beta readers were laughing out loud, and the print copies are getting great responses. So…awesome! I love the magic of taking ink and paper and an idea and creating something that can lift a heart.
Also available: the SFW version! Folks love the Naughty Fairies, but sometimes need a less salty version. I obliged. The images and sentiments from The Naughty Fairies’ Adult Coloring Book of Bad Words and Worse Attitudes reworked into a non-sweary version. It’s great to see the Naughty Fairies getting such a warm reception!
WRITING: I was minding my own business on a research trip to Georgia (for my novel series in progress) when two minor characters started talking to me. Outcome: short fiction appeared in Dark Discoveries magazine in last November And another one is, with Bertie’s encouragement, morphing from a short story into a novel. Because these characters have rich, complex lives, and keep cornering me to talk about them. (Writers often have imaginary friends into adulthood. But they’re not REALLY imaginary. Just real in different ways.)
